About Christina

Christina Rauh Fishburne has an MFA in Fiction Writing from the University of Alabama and was taught to paint by her father.
A unabashed Brontephile, she loves anything to do with the Genii and their works. In love with and fascinated by the Shenandoah Valley, she delights in folklore, legends, and ballads. Tell her a story.

Family is central to her creative process and she frequently collaborates, both in writing and painting, with her musician brother.

She lives with her husband and three children wherever the Army tells them to live. And she does it with a fabulous positive attitude. Every time. Promise.

“Before I wanted to be a wife, mom, farmer-ballerina, or a librarian with the cool stamper thing that spun to the next date, I wanted to be a writer.”
